They’re terrors mainly on the furniture, Urban Thought. Cai chewed the papasan and Fergus ripped the sofa. When I noticed each one sleeping beside his handiwork, I thought this was a good chance for a WW.
The best general principle I’ve learned about dogs is, “A tired dog is a happy dog” or alternately, “A tired dog is a happy owner.” If they’re well exercised, they won’t be barking and destroying things and fighting and chewing on the cat nearly so much.
Mind you, you might ask Dennis the Vizsla’s daddy James Viscosi whether that principle works for his dogs.
Oh, speakina whom…
I’ve given up letting them have stuffies. Cai wasn’t too hard on his — he’s a wood man — but Fergus will destroy anyone’s stuffy and all the throw cushions as well. Like my crocheted sweater, he probably decided to ruin the sofa as a challenging “big project” .
I love little pink puppy and kitty toes, too, Elizabeth, but haven’t thought to photograph them. Goodbear has done foot and nose close-ups. Maybe we should organize a Wordless Partsday.
Wordless Partsday?? LOL — if you do that, you had better specify that you’re talking about pets, noses and toesies and things like that. OTOH, imagine the search traffic it might generate?!
Yes, clarity is a must, Bobbie. Our G-rated integrity could be compromised. Or we might be subjected to motor parts, tractor parts, et cetera, which would be just as bad and not nearly as salacious.
I’d say that same for most people as well. I’m sure they are fun dogs. Can they be terrors too?
I’ll bet they’re dreaming about destroying their stuffies, though …

sweetness! you have very cute doggies!
Thanks, Goodbear! It helps keep them from being throttled, of course.
What a good picture of a cute nose.
Thanks, Gina! Should we make a campaign to promote the nose as the new tongue?
Awwwww…
Oh, I love up-close-nose shots!!!! I do that with my ‘kids’ too. I also am slightly obsessed with taking close-ups of their feet.
Is that as in “sawww” or “awwwl”, Almostgotit?

Oh, my goodness. The couch! They are experts. Still cute though, the little darlings.
They are cute, Livingisdetail; I’m sure they’re made that way on purpose.
