  1. Dog toy tracks? I’m slightly lost and hoping to be found.

Under Cai’s left foot, UT, is a black rubber frisbee-type dog toy. Instead of fetching it, Cai was amusing himself by scratching at it and pushing it around until it had made that big anchor-shaped track in the sand. Today’s WW title is a send-up of the field guide genre, which includes books on wild animal tracks.

    Fergus seems intrigued but mystified.

  4. lavenderbay says:

    He’s definitely paying attention, Checkers!

  5. Alyson says:

Cai: ‘What…you want this old thing? Look, it’s all dirty…Nah…I better play with it MYSELF for a little while longer…you just sit and watch, OK?’

  6. lavenderbay says:

“Okay… But how come when the toy is clean an’ new you always check it for fingerprints and cooties, till it gets dirty?”
